An exclusive YouTube vid (taken in the DOH in Honolulu) is provided below. 11/10/2013 NOTE: The special video in this post had somehow been disabled recently. I try to check on certain posts which have sensitive “property” from time to time – and this time I found this particular video had been mysteriously disabled. I had to do a work-a-round to add it back to the post.
A Certification of Live Birth, COLB, is the “document” that was posted on the Factcheck website as PROOF that barack Hussien obama was indeed born on US soil (jus soli). Most people accept that the COLB is the abbreviated version of the “standard” or long form birth certificate – which is a more complete record of a child’s birth. Neither forms should be confused with the original document given to parents after a child is born, or a “keepsake” type certificate which would not meet standards as acceptable proof of identy.
It has been stated on record, by Janice Okubo, at the Communications Office, Hawaii State Department of Health, that the long form birth certificate, otherwise called the “Certificate of Live Birth” can’t be had.

“Asked for more information about the short-form versus long-form birth documents, Okubo said the Health Department “does not have a short-form or long-form certificate.”Answer: No, you can’t obtain a “certificate of live birth” anymore.
The state Department of Health no longer issues copies of paper birth certificates as was done in the past, said spokeswoman Janice Okubo.
The department only issues “certifications” of live births, and that is the “official birth certificate” issued by the state of Hawaii, she said.
And, it’s only available in electronic form.

Let’s not forget this minor controversy:
We know that DoH had previously told the Israeli Insider that birth certificates were not issued electronically. Sometime later, the DHHL [Department of Hawaiian Home Lands] site was changed to say that they are ONLY issued electronically, the same day (ish) that this article (above) was run. Prior to the period of June 6, 2009 ~ June 10, 2009, when the DHHL website instructions were quietly changed, this is what the original requirements were for the DHHL application:
In order to process your application, DHHL [Department of Hawaiian Home Lands] utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL.
When requesting a certified copy of your birth certificate from the Vital Records Section of DOH, let the clerk know you are requesting it “For DHHL Purposes,” and that you need a copy of the original Certificate of Live Birth and not the computer-generated Certification.”
It now says this:
“Although original birth certificates (Certificates of Live Birth) are preferred for their greater detail, the State Department of Health (DOH) no longer issues Certificates of Live Birth. When a request is made for a copy of a birth certificate, the DOH issues a Certification of Live Birth”.
This seems a bit of a contradiction, as they state that the original birth certificates are in fact generated by acknowledging that they exist (and are preferred), that they are no longer issued. Mystery solved. A simple word game. It’s not that they don’t have them on file, it’s that they don’t issue them automatically when a person requests a copy of their BC.
We all know that loyal obamaists’ point to these things to prove how crazy “birthers” are for insisting that obama release his original long form birth certificate. They say, “Hawaii doesn’t HAVE any other form of birth certificate than the COLB that was on Factcheck. You can’t even get one if you ask”!
Well Kittens. A long form Hawaiian birth certificate can absolutely be had if you specifically request it.
Here ya go. I provided a transcript for the woman, I could not make out what the man was saying. The recording device has marginal audio capabilities, so if you want to hear what the woman says, you will need to crank it up. I do not have the equipment to extract the mans words, or clean up the audio so that you can more easily hear the woman. Although you do not hear the part where she makes the request for the long form, the fact that she did so is made clear by her comments. This was collected by a colleague at my request

“Alright, (crackling) Do you……how long does it take? Is there an expedited fee? Or…… Cause I can come back…I can come over and pick it up in person too. It’s just (inaudible) …it’s just right across the street (inaudible) cause it turns out…all I,… I thought I had a copy, but all I have is that Certificate of Live Birth, it’s not the same. You said it’s ten dollars? Yes sir. ”
PS. I have to go on a search for it, but not long ago Hawaii changed the language on the COLB from Certification of Live Birth to Certificate of Live Birth ~ so now both forms of the birth certificate have the same title. Which explains why the woman thought she had the proper form for her requirements, then found that the abbreviated COLB was insufficient. Answer provided by Epicurious in comments: “Sometime in October 2008.”
In case you missed it, the investigator asks the clerk for the Late/delayed index and or the Foreign index, and also asked if the birth indexes she had already viewed were “all inclusive?” The clerk stated; “We don’t have Late or Foreign indexes”.
OH REALLY ??
Ummmm…..why not? We have proof that those exist. Why is she telling the public that they don’t have them?

You can REQUEST anything. You can request a trip to the moon. The issue is not what you can request. It is what Hawaii will give you. And the newspaper articles you have shown state clearly that Hawaii gives out only the new OFFICIAL birth certificate to everyone.
IF the DOH had lied about giving out the original birth certificates, had lied by saying that it did not give out the original when it really did give it out, don’t you think that the REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR of Hawaii would have made them issue a correction by now? I am told that the atty general of Hawaii is a conservative. If the DOH had lied about giving out the original, don’t you think that he would have taken action?
The short-form Certification of Live Birth is what everyone in Hawaii gets. I suggest you exercise your comprehension skills and read the post again. The CURRENT DHHL website clearly states:

So, even an intellectual giant such as yourself should be able to understand that IF THIS STATEMENT IS MADE, THESE BIRTH CERTIFICATES DO, IN FACT EXIST.
The abbreviated form is the automatically issued form, if a person needs or desires the BC with greater detail, they must specifically request that particular form.
You need to spend some time actually reading, not just looking for a sentence here and there to support your hysterical desire to prop up the lies this administration has advanced.

Answer: She will GET the official birth certificate. She will not get the original birth certificate. Hawaii only sends out the OFFICIAL birth certificate

Answer. I suggest you ask DHHL about this, as I DID. The obvious question was how could they say that they preferred the original if DOH said that it sent out only the new official birth certificate. They replied that they were referring to the many cases where people had SAVED the original birth certificate from the time of birth and therefore had copies. As to the people who did not have the original anymore because they had lost it, DHHL replied that it would accept (as every department in Hawaii accepts and as the US State Department accepts) the new short form Certification as proof of birth in Hawaii, and that it would try to find other documents to prove the racial background of the applicant (which is the purpose of DHHL, providing low cost land for persons of Hawaiian race).
If the lady posts the original when she gets it, then show it. Otherwise, you have shown nothing. (Oh, and by the way, it is possible to check whether the so-called ORIGINAL has been forged.)

The lady mistakenly states in the video that she already had the Certificate of Live Birth, when in reality that is the document that she had supposedly came to get.
It would have been helpful if she had released the actual document that she received.
That aside, I do believe that Hawaii DOH is being coy with the vague unspecific obfuscatory wording that she used in her statements.
I find it particularly interesting that one cannot determine from her statement if she actually verified that documents existence by seeing that document with her own two eyes or on a computer screen.
Either way her statement would be true, and either way she could be talking about the same document that Obama has already released reasoning that her copy is the original and Obama has a copy.
This is why in the course of Fukino describing the document that she had seen, she conspicuously left out the words LONG FORM in her statements.
I find it further strange that no one from Hawaii DOH, or the state of Hawaii, has ever used the correct terms of “original long form birth certificate” or, “certificate of live birth”, to describe the document that Obama refuses to release, instead calling the document an original birth certificate, Vital Records, papers, a birth notification, or a written type of affidavit.
Why is it so damn difficult for them to call the document by its most commonly used names?
I believe it has something to do with future perjury charges, with maybe a bit of treason thrown in.

This is a great discussion. But it seems some BO supporters don’t want to deal with reality. Thing is, why can’t they just logically discuss it and think it through, reason it all out?
I agree with you kittycat. That reminds me of a comment that I read somewhere else, the person said something along the lines of the anti-birthers being the most annoying because they were wildly irrational. And boy, they do get tuned up sometimes.
I know that obama will likely not be re-elected in 2012, so we may not have our answer until well after that, but I would still want that answer.
The main thing is the issue of the Constitutional eligibility, and will always be. But the lies and obstructions surrounding this BC issue are a compelling and fascinating “mystery.” Even down to this seemingly insignificant point of whether or not a person can still order a copy of their long form birth certificate – the changes to the wording on website made clandestinely, the parsing of words, it’s all so obvious.

Yes, I haven’t studied it well yet, but unless the laws are carefully crafted towards candidates meeting nbC status as well as providing their supporting documentation, then they will just be for show. Arizona’s looks good so far, from what I have seen of it.
I like that they are airing out the props now instead of waiting till the last minute. It is far more fair to all of those who would run to know well in advance what to expect

I notice that the number of times the video has been viewed has not moved since a few months after it was posted, this in spite of many people cross-linking the video and using it in research. But it is well established that Youtube engages in such tactics. Sadly for them it does not change facts.
