It Ain’t Over Till I Say It’s Over

As November begins to appear over the horizon I begin to have concerns about the intentions of all of my Tea Party, Conservative, Libertarian and Fed-Up Democrat friends.  I fear that they expect that in a couple of years our would be Dictator, who is actually supposed to be the President of The United States, is going to be handily voted out of office.  No one in this country hopes for that more than I, but I do not fool myself in that this outcome is a given.  I get the impression that more and more people do though.  It’s like they are kicking back in their Lazy Boy, eating some apple pie and thinking it’s all going to go back to the way it used to be after the 2012 election.  Like they don’t have to do anything more because it’s a done deal.

Well, they better wake the fu*k up fast!  We CAN’T keep doing this Kittens.  We can’t.  God, you all make me want to weep in frustration, you really do.  It will not go away, and just because a bunch of us sit around dreaming that things will get all back to normal after the Dread Kenyan MAYBE doesn’t get the vote in 2012……we are gonna get our collective asses handed to us.

What will it take for you to get serious, not just yelling at your TV in disgust, and bitching at your friends at the diner about how we are turning into a communist country, but when will you DO something?  When will you pull together and get serious to get this punk out of the United States Whitehouse?  Huh?

I can just feel the people settling down for the long winters nap between now and then, figuring they don’t have to do a damn thing for now.  YOU ARE WEARY.  Keep working, don’t assume that it’s a given, because it.  is.  not.  I know it is so difficult to keep a hot fire under your ass for a whole four years, but for God’s sake, THINK OF THE ALTERNATIVE.

DISCIPLINE IS THE SOUL OF AN ARMY.  IT MAKES SMALL NUMBERS FORMIDABLE; PROCURES SUCCESS TO THE WEAK, AND ESTEEM TO ALL.      ~   George Washington
