RINO’s Need Lovin Too

Now to be fair to the people of Massachusetts I must say that they did the absolute right thing in voting a Republican into office. Do we know what we got? Not yet, but we do know what we did not get – and that has a great deal of value.
I read the following, and it did disturb me, but did not surprise me…..I wish it had:

Michelle Malkin

“Red Flag Number One: A reader from Arizona informed me the day after the Bay State Bombshell that he had received a robo-call from Massachusetts GOP Sen.-elect Scott Brown. “He basically wanted me to vote for John McCain in November,” the reader said in his description of the automated campaign call supporting the four-term Sen. McCain’s re-election bid. “No wonder [Brown] said he hadn’t had any sleep…he was busy recording phone messages!”

Conservatives have worked hard over the past year to rebuild after Big Government Republican John McCain’s defeat. But McCain isn’t going gently into that good night.

Red Flag Number Two: Also in the wake of the Massachusetts special election, the nation’s most popular conservative political figure, Sarah Palin, announced she would be campaigning for her former running mate in Arizona in March.

OK, how ewww is that? Sarah also said:

“that she’s going to “ride the tide with commonsense candidates” and help “heroes and statesmen” like McCain.”

Oh come ON! I confess I was a bit suspicious when she took a big ole book deal, but hey-the family has to eat.
Now she is a frequent guest on Oprah, and helping used up “heroes” that hug democrat ideals while insisting that they are really a republican statesman.

“Savor the irony: After a career spent bashing the right flank of the party, Sen. McCain is now clinging to its coattails to save his incumbent hide.

And pay attention to the hidden, more troubling irony: While he runs to the right to protect his seat, McCain’s political machine is working across the country to install liberal and establishment Republicans to secure his legacy.”

So here’s my thing. These Patriots in Massachusetts go out there and vote in a fabulous upset special election. They MADE the country aware that change is in the air and unstoppable.  The gratitude of this Nation belongs to those voters. And yet these RINO frickin bastards just go a-whistling around grinning big toothy grins under their $100.00 haircuts, smug in the knowledge that Scott Brown has a debt to pay and in paying that debt opens himself up to being nickeled and dimed and softly blackmailed every time this “hero and statesman” wants someone to sell him to the American people. And Scott Brown started to pay his debt promptly, didn’t he?

Now as to Sarah P., what can I say? I knew where it was going when she signed on at Fox. It could only have gone one of two ways. The best case would be that she was honing her communication skills, boning up on World Events, learning to debate more effectively and letting the viewers understand that she truly was the real deal.  I don’t think it’s going that way though.  Maybe we’d better confirm that with Oprah.
